Yoga

Yoga promotes inner balance by working simultaneously body and mind. The goal is to engage with the moment and to feel connected.

Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic yoga system that follows a sequence of poses, with a special focus on synchronizing breathing and movement. Ashtanga yoga focuses on both body and mind strength, flexibility and resilience and purifies the body through the stimulation of internal heat.

Ashtanga Yoga is well known for its transformative power and deep self-knowledge. This system was developed and taught by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009) in the 1920s and is nowadays taught by his grandson Sharath Jois.

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga, also known as "Flow Yoga" is a sequence of movements coordinated with breathing  (Ujjayi) that interconnect poses and create a continuous flow. Each Vinyasa class has a different dynamic depending on the instructor and his planning.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is a traditional yoga practice focusing on balancing body, mind, and breath. It combines physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation to cultivate harmony and inner peace. Suitable for all levels, Hatha Yoga emphasizes alignment and mindfulness, making it an excellent foundation for any yoga practice.

Hatha Yoga is often considered the root of modern yoga styles, tracing its origins back to ancient India. It promotes strength, flexibility, and mental clarity through a steady and deliberate approach to movement and breath.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative yoga style that targets deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. Poses are held for extended periods, allowing for deep relaxation and improved flexibility. This practice fosters mindfulness and patience, making it a powerful tool for stress relief and self-awareness.

Rooted in Taoist principles and Chinese medicine, Yin Yoga balances the body's energy channels, complementing more dynamic practices. It is particularly beneficial for restoring balance and cultivating inner stillness.
