For cycling, you will find an extensive and varied offer of bike models and sizes (MTB, Road, Gravel, E-bikes, Children), experienced staff and all the extra equipment you may need, like Garmin Cameras, GPS and bike trailers for kids.
The different stages, between 30 and 55 kilometers long are low difficulty, with only a few easy climbs. The individual stages can be shortened or extended, according to your level and needs.

Stage 1: Arrival in Viana do Castelo
Transfer from Porto Airport to the hotel, check in and quick briefing of the program.
Stage 2: Trip to Santa Luzia (approximately 30 km)
Cycle through the picturesque town of Viana do Castelo to Santa Luzia (the sacred heart of Jesus Temple, 2 km with medium tilt of 3%) undoubtedly one of the most famous and emblematic monuments in Viana do Castelo. The view from the top, where you will be able to enjoy a unique panoramic view of the surrounding coastline, is absolutely breath taking. Descending towards the coast and the praia norte, this route includes a stop in the town of Viana do Castelo before returning to the hotel.
Stage 3: Trip to Ponte de Lima (approximately 55 km)
The road to Ponte de Lima is through Lanheses and secondary roads with little traffic, what allows you to enjoy the view, with the “Vinho Verde” wine vineyards, the pastures with cattle and the rich granitic Manor Houses. A great way to get to know the region and breathe the fresh air of the countryside. Returning to the hotel, cycle along the protected area of “Lagoas de Bertiandos “, a bird watching spot.
Stage 4: Let´s Go to Montaria (55 km)
If you wish to try the local cuisine, like the “rojões” ou “cabrito assado” and drink some “champarrião” or vinho verde, this is the route to choose and São Lourenço da Montaria is the place to go. The whole tour is carried out in forest areas, surrounded by oaks and pines, and there are several options for eating and drinking on the way. If after the meal, you prefer the “siesta” to pedalling, let us take care of it and arrange a transfer for you and your bike.
Stage 5: Free day for you to choose your experience
Today, no bike ride is on the agenda. You can take the time to rest and enjoy our Spa services, or
choose another adventure of your taste: Surf, Sup, Windsurf, Kitesurf, Yoga.
Stage 6: Trip from Vila Nova de Cerveira to Viana (approximately 40 km)
Transfer from the Hotel to Vila Nova de Cerveira. This route is initially along wooden paths and dirt floors and then along scenic roads by the river and sea. Caminha (located 2 km from the Atlantic Ocean, on the southern bank of the Minho estuary) is where the Minho reaches its widest point (about 2 km) and marks the border between Portugal and Spain.The route continues heading south and crosses Vila Praia de Âncora, a small fishing village, before returning to the hotel along the coast.
Stage 7: Trip to Vila Praia de Âncora (approximately 43 km)
Not far from Viana do Castelo, this route takes you along roads with very little traffic and along the northern bank of the Lima river and through the Valley of Perre. The lunch break takes place in a small fishing town, well known for its many restaurants with fresh fish and a view to the sea. Return to the hotel, wind at your back and by the sea.
